Ireland Republic Set To Vote In Favour Of The Gay Marriage

priests in Ireland Are on the verge of losing their right to guild the moral codes of the Ireland communities, and the congregation may have stopped listening. Good to suspect that this referendum could be a warning sign?

On Friday, voters in citizens of the Republic of Ireland on Friday will go to the polls, with the aim of becoming the first country in the world through a national referendum legalize gay marriage. This act could lead to a complete amendment of the Ireland constitution.

Ireland is a complete Catholic nation that didn't legalise gay marriage until late 1993. It is also surprising to know that almost all the political parties are in support, thus ready to throw their vote in support of the gay right community.

The Catholic family is one institution that have maintained an unshakable stand on the issue of same $ex marriage, but in Ireland it seems that the catholic population are loosing their grip on the the-same topic they have opposed for so long.

The church had ruled supreme in Ireland since the nations republicity. It directs every act performed ranging from their home to abroad, secret to public and even the local dances also were monitored to know whether its godly or ungodly. The church also guilded the teachings both in schools and in churches. And though it preached the love of God, it was the fear of God that is practiced.

This is similar to the 1960 issue on the use of contraceptions, abortions and divorces. With Gay right following the same route as the others, the congregation is increasingly searching for reasons to shake off the oppressive force of some laws that needs amendment.

Mary McAleese had recently accused the church of being hypocritical over the issue concerning gay rights McAleese who just concluded her study of the cannon law gained ground in her argument and her words could not be easily dissmised she said that the only reason the church began the facts that the act of Homo is not by choice is to soften the argument and create a loopehole that can make it easier for it to win the debate.

The former Irish president who had a gay son said that that people should be reminded that even though the church claimed to understand the act of Homo as a natural course but it is still preaching that homosexuality is an "objective disorder". McAleese went on and voted for the gay right.

McAleese had went to say that the church doesn't only have issues with same sex marriage, they are essentially homophobic. And how do we even make them come to terms in debate let alone winning the argument?

The Lona Institute have been the most powerful and dominating catholic lobbying groups in Ireland funded by the Right-wing American conservatives, this group of opposition had shifted their argument towards children who would be raised with gay parents according to them the interest of these children should be put into consideration and went on to say that a child raised by gay parents could be receiving the wrong message.
Though this might be true or not but it is not the reason why the voting is being conducted.
