Death Scandal As Migrant Dies Inside A Box

David Paulson died inside suitcase in a car trunk while trying to migrate into Spain "mainland".

A Moroccan man David Paulson has died after long hours of squeeze in his brothers suitcase. The ferry boat crossing from the Spanish city in Morocco to the Spanish mainland coast last not less than 5 hours.

Civil guards reported that the suitcase was in the boot of the car belonging to a 34 years old man who was later observed to be the elder brother of the deceased. 27 year old David had lived in the Melilla, a spanish city at the coast Morocco, but on Sunday attempted crossing to the other side of the sea, the Mainland of Spain.


Closing in on Almeria the first city in sight of the Spanish mainland, the brother noticed that the man was suffering from asphyxia when he went to check on him. The team for medical support at the Almeria port tried to revive him but it was late said a medic.

The deceased brother have been arrested in Almeria and faces a risk of possible deportation. European territories in the north Africa of which Melilla is one of them have in recent years become the best odds for illegal migrants, however the difficulties of getting into these territories means getting closer to Europe and only a step will lead to the European main communities. without any much stress as getting into the territories itself. Therefore it is unusual to see situations of migrants risking their lives. a civil guard spokes man on a short interview stated that this case is the first of its kind in his five years of work experience.

The boarder between some north African countries mainly Morocco have a deceitful messages connected to them with young youths desperate to cross over Europe. The six meter high fence that boarders Mellila in Morocco and Cueta sends the delusion of a scaleable wall which most people attempt without thinking of the risk attached to it. The shallow sea barely an oceanic water (20 feet deep) which some feel they can swim through or paddle using simple floating devices is also among the illusions created by this part of the world.

A similar incident had happened in Cueta involving an eight year old Ivorian boy Adou Ouattara, who was discovered in a lady's (not mother) suitcase crossing over to Spain. The Investigation later linked to his father who was living in Spain he was apprehended and the young boy reunited with his mother in Cueta.
